Q: Do I need to become a member in order to book for an event?

A: Yes, but it's FREE to join! You only pay for the events you book for. If you attend more than five events a year you will become eligible for discounts.

Q: Are there any specific requirements to sign up?

A: You just need to be over 20 and have an e-mail address.

Q: How do I book for an event?

A: Click on the ‘Events/Adventures’ TAB to view all of Sugar Snap’s upcoming events. Double click the picture of the event you're interested in and then click the 'Wanna Play’ TAB. You are requested to fill in your username and password (You need to be registered on the Sugar snap site) and click submit. Sugar Snap will contact you in the next 24 hours to confirm your booking and request payment. Alternatively you can call us on 079 4973 765 and book over the phone (local cell phone rates apply).

Q: Why do I need to book in advance?

A: YES, Booking is essential

Q: How do I make a payment?

A: Electronic Transfer

Q: What if I want to pay by credit card?

A: Unfortunately this facility isn’t available yet but we’re working on getting it up and running ASAP.

Q: What's your policy on refunds?

A: It depends on the adventure or event you are booked on for:

-Straight fun, please cancel 2 Days in advance to get a full refund less the 25% admin fee

-Fun including Food, please cancel 4 Days in advance to get a full refund less 25% admin fee

-An overnight adventure, please cancel 90 to 30 days prior to departure you will be refunded 50% (ex plane ticket fare). If you cancel 30 to 0 days prior to the adventure you will be charge at 100%.

You can however send a friend in your place, at no additional cost. But please let us know if you are unable to attend for whatever reason.

Q: I can’t make an event can I send a friend instead?

A:Yes, of course you can, as long as we know about it and you give us your friends email address and cell phone number. Please call us on 079 4973 765 with any changes.

Q: Can I bring a friend?

A: Sure! You’re very welcome to bring friends to Sugar Snap events – the more the merrier!

Q: What type of people attend Sugar Snap events?

A: Most guests are young professionals, who enjoy the outdoors, love a good adventure and want to extend their circle of friends. They're normal people who want to experience the fun side of life and who want to go beyond their work or immediate circle of friends to meet people who enjoy the gifts of Cape Town and all she has to offer.

Q: How do I find out the location of Sugar Snap events?

A: Once your booking has been confirmed and payment has been received you will receive directions and a map to the venue and/or meeting place.

Q: How old are the other Guests attending these events?

A: Although the age ranges vary for particular events, most of our events are for the 24 - 42 age group. Generally we limit the age range between individuals for any one event to a maximum of 10 years. But we do also run some events exclusively for older participants.

Q: Why don't you run more events for people in their 40s and 50s?

A: We get literally hundreds of requests from women in their 40s and 50s asking us to run events. Unfortunately we do not have enough demand from men in the same age bracket to run as many events as we would like.

Q: How should I dress for a Sugar Snap event?

A: Wear what you feel comfortable in. Most events are hosted outdoors; so comfortable shoes are a must. Once your booking has been confirmed Sugar Snap will also send you all the information necessary for the event including the dress code.

Q: Why do you want my phone number, you're not going to give it out, are you?

A: We ask for contact phone numbers in case we need to cancel or postpone an event. We don’t and will never give out your personal information to third parties without your consent..
